The Corporate Travel Clinic believes that the careful handling of your personal data is very important. We therefore process and secure your personal data very carefully in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

The Corporate Travel Clinic is a ‘controller’ within the meaning of the AVG which means we are responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and use, and for what purpose.

Newsletter and mailings

When you register for our newsletter we only use your name and email address. No other unnecessary personal data is collected and/or used. We use MailChimp to send our newsletters. MailChimp is certified within the EU/US Privacy Shield Framework. Its privacy policy complies with the European legislation as laid down in the AVG. Your personal data are managed by the Corporate Travel Clinic and is never shared with third parties. Cookies & Statistics

The Corporate Travel Clinic gathers information about visits to our website. Only authorised employees are shown the data which is collected, and then only in the form of a summary. We use this information to better understand which items on our website are highly valued by users and which less so. Other than these employees no one else has access to this data and we will never sell or rent it to third parties.

The data is collected through Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. Google Analytics uses "cookies". These are small text files placed on a computer to help analyse how visitors use websites. We mask the last octet of your IP address, these are the last four digits of such an address, so that the data cannot be traced back to your computer. Data sharing with third parties is disabled.

Google is certified within the EU/US Privacy Shield Framework. Its privacy policy complies with the European legislation as laid down in the AVG.

We also use YouTube. YouTube is a Google subsidiary and is subject to the same processor agreement that we have with Google. YouTube can place advertisements alongside videos. You can read more about privacy and Google advertising programs here.

You may restrict the use of cookies by Google for certain purposes. You can also disable these cookies by choosing the appropriate settings in your browser. Security of Personal Data

We use strict security procedures in order to prevent unauthorised access to personal data within the website, amongst other things. We also use secure connections (SSL) so that all information exchanged between you and our website is protected when you enter personal data.

In addition, passwords are stored in encrypted form. Access to data is limited to system administrators and then only from preset IP addresses. The servers are physically protected against unauthorised access, and against damage and malfunctions. There are procedures in place to allow authorised users to access the servers and to prevent unauthorised access. The servers and the information systems are actively monitored and managed. We also immediately install any solutions for security breaches which are brought out by our suppliers.

This statement does not apply to third party websites that are connected to our website by means of links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable and secure manner. We encourage you to read the privacy statement of these websites before using them.

We reserve the right to make changes to this statement. It is therefore advisable to consult this statement regularly so that you are aware of any changes.
