Sierra Leone – Remote Clinic

In Freetown, Sierra Leone, the Corporate Travel Clinic established a remote clinic at the site of our client’s project. Initially, this clinic was set up because of an Ebola outbreak. However, the clinic now continues to serve as a permanent facility delivering healthcare to a population of 100 employees and their family members. According to the guidelines of the Institute of Remote Health Care (IRHC), this clinic was classified as an extremely remote location due to the lack of locally available healthcare and the Ebola outbreak at the time.
