I. Rapid PCR: from now on
The results of our Rapid SARS-CoV-2 PCR test are available a lot quicker than the regular PCR test results, and with the same reliability. Just like the standard PCR, this Rapid PCR belongs to the group of tests known as NAAT (nucleic acid amplification test).
The advantages are obvious; for many companies these rapid results can mean that employees avoid the need for hotel stays whilst waiting for the results of a regular test.
Where there is unforeseen urgency, we can provide a result within 2 hours. If the need is less urgent, results are provided within 6 hours. Regular PCR tests, with results sent within 24 hours, are of course still possible. Please see the table below for an overview of costs.
When making an appointment, please make sure you clearly indicate if you opt for a rapid PCR! For now, we are providing this service on weekdays within office hours. However, please do contact us if you have a request relating to times or days outside these office hours.
II. Health checks: additional service
Now that the demand for periodic health checks is gradually picking up again, I would also like to mention the following: we have agreed with a number of companies that we will take the initiative in inviting eligible employees to take part. We do this via our secure digital portal which ensures complete privacy. Please contact us if you want to make use of this free service.
We would also like to draw your attention again to the possibility of adding a lung function test to the health check, either as a one off or periodically. This may be of increased interest to your employees in the light of concerns about the long-term effects of having had a COVID-19 infection.
